Job summary

MaineHealth's Stephens Hospital is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant who works under a Physical Therapist to help deliver interventions to patients with injuries or health conditions. The role requires graduation from an APTA-accredited PTA program, state PTA licensure, BLS certification, and a driver’s license if home care is involved, with one year of clinical experience preferred.

The position offers outpatient settings, competitive benefits, and a pay range of $25.24 to $34.16

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current applicable state PTA license and BLS certification (or within 30 days of start); driver’s license with vehicle if home care.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist under supervision of a Physical Therapist to deliver PT interventions.
• Support patients with impairments to improve function and health status.
