Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in infrastructure design and planning.
• Strong knowledge of design software such as CAD.
• Familiarity with relevant codes regulations and standards.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and surveys to assess feasibility and gather data.
• Prepare drawings, blueprints and specifications for infrastructure projects.
• Use CAD software to create detailed plans.
• Calculate costs and materials needed for construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, construction teams and government agencies to ensure project designs meet requirements.
• Oversee the construction process to ensure plans are being followed correctly.
• Conduct quality control checks on materials used in construction.
• Monitor progress of projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Prepare progress reports for clients or stakeholders.
