Job summary

IKM in Haugesund, Norway, seeks an experienced Mechanical Completion (MC) engineer to serve as the main contact for MC in onshore studies and delegate tasks across locations. You will help estimate MC hours during study and execution, review system matrices, and assure quality of study reports.

You will prepare documentation for MC and commissioning, advise other MC resources, and perform QA on their work, ensuring alignment with Equinor M&M (VEM) procedures and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar MC engineering role.
• Experience with MC engineering on onshore facilities.
• Mandatory experience with Equinor M&M (VEM) procedures and systems.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required; knowledge of Norwegian is a strong advantage.
• Language: English (Norwegian is an advantage)

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for Mechanical Completion (MC) in onshore studies, and delegate study tasks across resources at different locations.
• Contribute to hour estimation for MC in study and execution phases, system matrices, and quality assurance of study reports.
• Prepare documentation and procedures for the mechanical completion and commissioning phases.
• Act as a key discussion partner and advisor for other MC resources working in studies.
• Perform quality assurance of work conducted by other MC study resources, typically reviewing draft system matrices, estimates, and collaboration and completion strategies.
