Job summary

We are seeking an Online English Tutor to join our team in Svalbard. You will teach students of all ages, focusing on speaking, listening, reading and writing through interactive online lessons.

Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, delivering engaging online classes via Zoom or Skype, providing feedback, tracking attendance and progress, and coordinating with guardians. A Bachelor’s in Education is preferred; 2 years experience; remote work possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an English tutor or teacher.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with students of all ages.
• Experience working with diverse groups of students, including children, adults, and non-native speakers.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms such as Skype or Zoom.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
