Samat Nordic in Fredrikstad, Norway, is seeking a Transportleader to oversee daily transport planning on-site. You will schedule vehicles, assign routes, and ensure deliveries and pickups are carried out safely and on time.

The role also involves monitoring performance, resolving issues, and coordinating with drivers, internal teams, and external partners while contributing to continuous improvement and compliant operations.

Formación

• Experience in transport coordination, logistics planning, or fleet management, with the ability to organize routes and schedules efficiently.
• Knowledge of transport safety standards, traffic regulations, and best practices for on-site operations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with drivers, colleagues, and external partners.
• Proven ability to solve problems under time pressure, manage incidents, and make sound operational decisions.
• Comfort using digital tools and basic IT systems for planning, tracking administration, and reporting transport activities.
• High level of reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.
• Relevant vocational training or education in logistics, transport, or a related field is beneficial.
• Experience working in or with Scandinavian transport environments and proficiency in a Scandinavian language or English is an advantage.
