Job summary

Dell is seeking customer-focused L1 Technicians to provide on-site technical support for Dell client systems. You will attend customer locations, validate faults, complete hardware repairs, replace parts and use Dell diagnostic tools, ensuring professional service updates in line with contractual obligations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, excellent communication, and the ability to work to SLA-driven deadlines, including travel to customer sites and adherence to safety and field

Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 technical support or field service.
• Strong knowledge of PC and client hardware.
• Ability to follow structured diagnostic processes and document steps.
• Proficient written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Dell field service support to customers.
• Attend sites within SLA timeframes, including extended hours.
• Diagnose and repair Dell desktops, laptops and client hardware.
• Validate warranty status and service tag details before repairs.
• Use Dell diagnostic tools and processes to troubleshoot.
• Generate service reports and obtain customer sign-off.
• Escalate incidents as needed and manage parts through DFSM.
