Job summary

IK Subsea is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to develop concepts, perform calculations and contribute through the full project lifecycle. You will work with a 16-engineer team across Stavanger and Poland, moving concepts from design through assembly and offshore deployment.

You will finalize technical documentation and support manufacturing, testing and commissioning, taking ownership of technical deliverables within your scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum a technical college degree (fagskole) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of four years of experience as Mechanical/Structural Engineer or related.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor or another CAD system.
• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Valid work permit for Norway.

Responsibilities

• Develop initial concepts and perform calculations based on design specs.
• Participate in assembly and testing with the workshop team.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure readiness for shipment offshore.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams across Stavanger and Poland.
