SeaRenergy seeks a Site Inspector (m/f/d) for offshore steel structures in Verdal, Norway. The freelance/B2B role covers fabrication supervision, welding inspection and quality control on site with possible offshore phases.

Requirements include CSWIP 3.1+, ISO 9712 VT2, FROSIO/NACE Level 2, English and Norwegian at B2 level, and a valid driving licence. Based in Verdal for the project duration.

Qualifications

• Welding inspection knowledge and practical QC experience.
• Experience with inspection and test plans (ITPs) and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with EN 1090 and related welding standards.

Responsabilités

• Perform site inspections and supervise fabrication of offshore steel structures.
• Act as Second Party Inspector for the client and execute inspections per ITPs.
• Attend Witness and Hold Points and monitor activities.
• Inspect welding, assembly and coating processes.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning activities.
• Review fabrication and as-built docs for inspection readiness.
• Escalate deviations, quality issues and risks to Technical Lead/PM.
• Participate in coordination meetings and safety walks.
• Prepare inspection docs, reports, punch lists and NCRs.
• Support HSE documentation and lessons learned.
