Job summary

Intertek Italia is seeking Freelance Completions Inspectors to join our network and support multiple projects across Norway. The role involves verifying completions equipment quality, QA/QC processes, and regulatory compliance in field environments.

Responsibilities include inspecting tools, witnessing tests, reviewing documentation, and reporting non-conformances. Offshore/onshore exposure and relevant certifications are advantageous for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical, petroleum, or related engineering field.
• API Q1/Q2 or DS-1 QA/QC certifications are advantageous.
• Relevant tool-specific or service provider certifications (e.g., Schlumberger, Halliburton) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify completions tools and equipment prior to delivery and installation.
• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, DS-1 standards and client requirements.
• Witness function and pressure tests; perform QA/QC checks on assemblies.
• Review equipment certifications, test charts, and QA records.
• Monitor field activities to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Identify defects, report non-conformances, and suggest corrective actions.
• Interface with service providers and engineers to ensure readiness.
• Assist in verifying installation and pulling procedures during completions.
• Generate inspection reports and maintain documentation and traceability.
• Support safe well completions operations with HSE compliance.
