Job summary

DOF is inviting internal candidates to join the Skandi Africa as 3rd Engineer, starting 02.12.2026, with a handover if needed. Rotation: 5 weeks; Operational Area: Worldwide. You will contribute to safe, efficient daily operations and uphold DOF's high safety standards aboard our vessels.

Qualifications

• Holds the certificates, endorsements, and qualifications required for the position.
• Meets company, flag state, and regulatory requirements relevant to the role.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
• Relevant experience from similar vessel types and operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with DOF procedures and standards, or willingness and ability to learn.
• Professional attitude with a focus on continuous improvement and safe operations.
