Job summary

Cambridge Memorial Hospital in Ontario seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to support the perioperative continuum, the acute pain service and the preoperative clinic. In collaboration with anesthesia, surgery and the interprofessional team, you will assess, plan, educate and follow up with surgical patients and those with acute pain.

The role requires a Masters in Nursing, NP certificate, CNO Extended Class, and 3–5 years of perioperative experience.

Qualifications

• Masters in Nursing and NP certification required.
• Registered with College of Nurses of Ontario Extended Class.
• 3–5 years of perioperative surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Support perioperative continuum, acute pain service and pre-operative clinic.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgery and interprofessional teams.
• Assess, plan, educate and follow up with surgical patients.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
