Job summary
GE HealthCare is seeking a Nonclinical Scientist to support the development of diagnostic imaging agents, contributing biology and toxicology expertise across nonclinical projects. The role involves working with cross-functional teams, improving processes, and ensuring consistency in nonclinical activities throughout the portfolio.
You will assist with in vitro and in vivo studies, support regulatory documentation, and contribute to the scientific strategy for imaging products in development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in biology-related life sciences.
- Experience in cardiology, neurology or oncology related to drug development.
- Familiarity with imaging modalities (PET/SPECT/CT/MRI/ultrasound) is preferred.
- Experience with regulatory submissions, GLP safety/toxicology studies and safety risk assessments is desirable, not required.
Responsibilities
- Contribute scientific expertise in biology, pharmacology or toxicology to nonclinical development programmes.
- Support the Nonclinical Development team across multiple projects and programmes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to simplify processes and improve team efficiency.
- Prepare and review nonclinical reports, regulatory submissions, safety assessments and publications.
- Develop knowledge across the nonclinical portfolio and provide scientific support to programmes.
