Qualifications

  • Experience and understanding of cranes and heavy machinery.
  • Requires valid electrical authorization as per Norwegian regulations.
  • Experience with automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation of MHS equipment on vessels.
  • Participate in safety briefings and meetings.
  • Conduct maintenance as directed by the MHS Supervisor.

Join DOFs growth as a MHS Technician!

With numerous long-term projects secured, DOF is expanding rapidly. We are looking for a MHS Technician to join our offshore team and contribute to our success.

As a MHS Technician in DOF you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vessel MHS equipment. You will also carry out any additional maintenance or administrative duties directed by the MHS Supervisor. In this role you will actively participate in all project and internal safety briefings and toolbox safety meetings.

While our main operational hub is in the Atlantic region, our fleet of cutting-edge vessels is deployed worldwide, offering you the chance to explore diverse environments and cultures.   • Offshore working experience
  • Working experience and understanding of the mechanics of heavy industrial equipment / machinery eg: cranes, MHS systems, construction equipment
  • Awareness of how systems operate, and the consequences of operator performance and behavior for project execution, and safety of self and others
  • The position requires a valid Norwegian electrical authorization in accordance with national regulations.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience with automation is preferred.
  • Certification for G20 hydraulic crane operation.
  • Certification for G5 offshore crane operation (or equivalent)
  • Working at height and rescue at height
