Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in a merchandising role, preferably in the retail industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors/suppliers.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software programs.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the merchandising team to create, implement, and monitor merchandising strategies.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify opportunities for new products or improvements on existing ones.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices, quantities, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with various departments such as design, marketing, and sales to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products based on sales performance.
• Analyze sales data to track product performance and make recommendations for improvements or adjustments.
• Create product presentations for internal meetings and external clients.
