Job summary

IKM is seeking an experienced MC field engineer for offshore assignments on a 14-28 rotation. You will monitor installation and execution, conduct punch-list inspections, and manage client handover. You will also prepare and deliver system completion documentation to a high standard.

This temporary role runs from November 13, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with offshore safety requirements in place. English language proficiency is essential, and a Trade certificate with relevant offshore certificates

Qualifications

• Experience completing and handing over to commissioning.
• MC process and system completion knowledge required.
• Valid offshore safety and medical certificates as listed.

Job description

• Perform MC field engineering tasks and monitor installation and execution within the project.
• Conduct punch-list inspections and manage the handover process to the client.
• Ensure the preparation and delivery of high-quality system completion documentation.

Required expertise

• Trade certificate in electrical, automation, or telecommunications (Technical College or Bachelor's degree preferred; extensive experience can compensate for formal education).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with completion and handover to commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Completion (MC) process and system completion projects.
• Proficiency with Pims365.
• Valid FSE (High & Low Voltage) including First Aid.
• Valid AT / SJA (Work Permit / Safe Job Analysis) competence.
• Valid Offshore Survival Certificate and Medical Health Certificate (GSK including HUET), CA-EBS, Shoulder Measurement (XBR), GWO Manual Handling, and Chester Step test.
