Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Norway is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Completion/Comm. Engineer specializing in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications (EIT). The role involves conducting study work, preparing engineering designs, and managing commissioning activities. A vocational certificate is required, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Fluency in English is essential, while knowledge of Norwegian is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of relevant vocational certificate (fagbrev) is required.
• Experience with ProCoSys in structuring MC/Commissioning packages is necessary.
• Basic EX safety course and FSE certification for high/low voltage required.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Completion/Comm. Engineer specializing in the Electrical, Instrumentation, and Telecommunications (EIT) discipline to join our team in the Bergen area.

The role primarily involves study work and engineering design within the EIT field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Mechanical Completion (MC) and Commissioning activities for EIT.
• Conduct study work and prepare engineering documentation and designs.
• Develop and manage commissioning and testing procedures.
• Support field activities as needed during the project realization phase.
• Ensure proper structuring and setup of MC and Commissioning packages in systems.
• Use and maintain digital project tools such as ProCoSys and PIMS365.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a relevant vocational certificate (fagbrev). Bachelor’s degree or Technical College diploma is preferred.
• Basic EX safety course.
• FSE certification for high and low voltage with first aid.
• Experience in engineering study work or project execution.
• Experience with ProCoSys, particularly in structuring MC/Commissioning packages.
• Fluency English (written and verbal). Fluency in Norwegian is preferred.
