Job summary

Hypersonica GmbH seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to own the system architecture for Europe’s high-speed flight vehicles. You will lead design across disciplines from concept through PDR, building a rigorous MBSE framework and a traceable requirements model.

You will develop a 6-DoF GNC model for PDR in close collaboration with flight physics and avionics teams, applying closed-loop control theory at the system level to ensure performance and robustness.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety-critical or mission-critical environments.
• Proven ability to own requirements models and drive architectural decisions.
• Strong background in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and MBSE traceability.

Responsibilities

• Own the system architecture and model for high-speed flight vehicles.
• Lead aerospace systems architecture from concept through PDR and beyond.
• Build and maintain a coherent system requirements model with testable sub-system requirements.
• Define and manage the end-to-end system V-model and readiness gates.
• Apply MBSE as a practical tool with traceability across requirements, models, analyses and tests.
• Develop a 6-DoF GNC model for PDR in collaboration with engineers.
