Job summary

EventMakers Entertainment is seeking an experienced Mason to join our team in Os, Norway. You will construct and repair structures using brick, concrete, and stone, reading blueprints and working to specifications.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of masonry experience, strong knowledge of construction techniques, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks or other materials to construct or repair walls, arches, chimneys, and other structures according to blueprints or specifications
• Cut or trim bricks, concrete blocks, or stone to fit specific dimensions
• Mix mortar or grout using specified proportions and spread it onto surfaces using hand or power tools
• Align structures using levels, plumb bobs, or straightedges
• Repair cracks or other damage in existing masonry structures
• Clean excess mortar from finished work and perform final cleanup of job site
• Communicate with contractors and clients to ensure project requirements are met
