Job summary

A leading hospitality organization in Hemsedal is seeking a Janitor to assist in maintaining both internal and external environments of the facility. Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance tasks including construction, electricity, and plumbing.
• B driving license is required.
• English speaking; Nordic languages are a plus.

Now we are looking for a new member to our maintenance team!

The role of a Janitor means that you assist the department manager, helping being responsible for the facility's internal and external environment. You are an important part of the entire business, and you work closely with our other departments to ensure that the guest experience is as good as possible.

We are therefore looking for someone who is both a supporter of planning and structure, but who also loves to work actively, and who has knowledge of and experience with what is needed in a house, whether it is construction, electricity or plumbing.

Your duties:

• Maintenance of the property's external and internal environments
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance work
• Supervision of technical systems
• Contact and cooperation with external craftsmen and suppliers
• Responsibility for the property's security system to function optimally

You need to be:

• Independent and proactive
• Service-oriented and communicative
• Organized with good ability to prioritize tasks
• Flexible and prepared to handle unforeseen situations
• B driving license is a requirement
• English speaking (Nordic languages is a plus but not mandatory)

About the position:

Employment type: 70% part time, start date asap until end of season (May). Possibility for extention in to summer season.

Salary: According to agreement

Staff accommodation is available for rent.
