A manufacturing company in Bergen is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for setting up operating and maintaining various types of production machinery. You will also be expected to perform quality checks, troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure the safe and efficient operation of the machines.

• Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Properly document production data and maintain accurate records

• Assist with training new employees on machine operations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams
• Knowledge of basic mechanical principles and machine operations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating specific types of machinery such as CNC machines, lathes or presses
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to machine operation
• Biometric passport preferred but not required

Salary $1300 per month negotiable based on experience
