Job summary

Mariner Finance is seeking a sales-oriented Customer Service Specialist at our Time branch. You will provide exceptional service, analyze credit information, process loan applications, and proactively contact customers with past-due balances while aiming to meet branch goals.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in customer service or sales, a high school diploma, reliable transportation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a customer service or sales position.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to learn financial services programs.
• Must obtain applicable licenses to sell insurance products offered by the branch.
• Must perform work at the assigned branch location.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by solving problems, presenting loan solutions, and selling products.
• Process credit loan applications and analyze credit/financial information.
• Contact past-due customers to offer solutions and resolve delinquency.
• Meet or exceed branch sales goals for products and services.
• Learn relevant consumer laws to ensure compliant actions.
• Maintain a cash drawer and process payments and deposits.
• May perform additional functions based on market demand and staffing.
