Job summary

Avanta Works in Alta, Canada is seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our construction team. You will operate heavy loaders to load and transport materials on construction sites, with a full-time role and a salary of $1,800 per month plus accommodation.

Applicants should have at least 2 years’ loader experience, be able to read blueprints, and demonstrate safety awareness and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience operating loaders in a construction setting.
• Valid loader operator certification or license preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and plans.
• Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate loaders to load and move materials such as dirt gravel and debris on construction sites
• Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs
• Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others
• Communicate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate tasks efficiently
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
