Job summary

NTNU invites applications for a full-time Professorship/Associate Professorship in Control of Power Electronic Converters and Electric Drives. The position is organized in PEM within IEL, IE, and focuses on digital control of electric drives and power electronics.

The candidate will engage in research, teaching, supervision, and development of the PEM Digital Control platform, with courses aligned to modern pedagogy.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Power Electronics and Electric Drives
  • Norwegian language skills at level B2; educational competence

Responsibilities

  • Conduct internationally recognized research within the area of the position.
  • Initiate and lead externally funded research projects in collaboration with industry and other partners.
  • Teach and develop courses at bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD level; contribute to pedagogical development.

Education
