Job summary

Wood is looking for an experienced Senior or Lead Subsea Systems Engineer to join our team in Norway, with subsea hub offices in Stavanger and Oslo. You will contribute to delivering subsea systems and field development solutions for diverse clients and projects from early studies through detailed engineering and operation.

You will lead architecture definitions from wellhead to export, mentor junior engineers, and work with SPS, Risers and Flowlines teams.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering degree with subsea systems experience.
• Experience with field architecture, SURF engineering, and offshore standards.
• Experience on the Norwegian Continental Shelf preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide subsea systems & facilities expertise to project and operations teams.
• Define subsea system architecture from wellhead to export point.
• Develop and mature subsea field architecture concepts.
• Develop subsea area layouts for infield locations and host facilities.
• Perform systems design activities with SPS, Subsea Structures, Risers and Flowline.
• Support and mentor junior systems and SURF engineers.
• Contribute to project risk workshops and design reviews, tracking risks and actions.
