Job summary

NES Fircroft in Stavanger, Norway, is seeking a Project Engineering Manager for the Manifolds, Distribution and Connection Systems (MDC) portfolio on a 12-month consultancy basis.

The PEM will coordinate cross‑product engineering activities across structures, spools/jumpers, connection systems and distribution systems to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery, maintaining strong interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in project engineering, systems engineering, or project management in complex technical/Oil & Gas environments.
• Strong leadership and coordination skills to influence cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in integrated planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for customers, executives, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with ability to drive timely solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cross-product engineering activities across structures, spools/jumpers, connection systems, and distribution systems to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Drive integrated engineering planning, align schedules, manpower, milestones and deliverables across MDC product lines.
• Lead performance reviews and KPI tracking, monitor S-curve progress, identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage engineering budgets and resource plans, including cost analysis, forecasting and manpower approvals.
• Own technical communication with clients, ensure clear requirements and alignment with systems engineering on specs and changes.
• Identify and manage risks, opportunities, and scope changes with proper approvals and mitigations.
• Support production and supply chain activities, maintaining engineering ownership beyond document delivery.
• Provide leadership to MDC engineering teams and foster collaboration and governance adherence.
