Job summary

Leap29 is seeking a Piping Lead Engineer – Subsea Manifold Systems in Stavanger, Norway. You will lead piping design, analyses, and collaborate with mechanical engineers on manifold projects, tenders, or programs.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, strong knowledge of ASME/API/DNV codes, and excellent English communication. Valve engineering knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of piping design codes (ASME, API, DNV).
• Robust background in mechanical analyses.
• Proactive, results oriented, and willing to take ownership.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.
• Valve engineering knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead piping design and analyses for subsea manifold systems.
• Create design reports and drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and management on design concepts.
• Present analyses in design reviews.
• Support project management and cross-functional interfaces.
