Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Norway is seeking a field service technician to service, maintain, commission and document fire, voice and emergency lighting systems at customer sites. You will be the face of Honeywell, reporting to the Field Service Leader for the region.

You bring an electrical trades certificate, at least two years’ hands-on experience, a clean driver’s license and the ability to communicate clearly in Norwegian and English. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate in low current/voltage, telecommunications or electrical trades (FG750).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in service/maintenance/installation.
• Category B driver's license required.
• Knowledge of fire alarm systems is an advantage; training provided.
• Good customer service orientation and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform service and planned maintenance on facilities at our customer.

Task

• Perform service and planned maintenance on facilities at our customer
• Responsibility for installation, technical support and customer support
• Plant commissioning
• Reporting and updating documentation

Qualifications

• Certificate in low current/voltage, telecommunications or electrical trades -FG750
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in one or more of the above areas
• Master data for use as a work tool
• Knowledge of and experience of fire alarm systems and associated systems is an advantage, but full training will be provided
• Category B driver's license
