Job summary
RemoteConnect seeks a Land Surveyor based in Alta to contribute to infrastructure development and maintenance. You will perform surveys, collect data, and deliver accurate property boundaries, topography, and construction specifications for informed decision-making.
The role requires experience with GPS, GIS software, and CAD tools, plus strong math skills and outdoor work capability. Accommodation is provided for relocatees, as part of a vibrant Alta community.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Land Surveyor or similar role.
- Familiarity with surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, robotic instruments).
- Proficiency with GIS software (ArcGIS) and CAD programs (AutoCAD).
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate calculations.
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members and clients.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys and collect data using GPS and traditional surveying tools.
- Analyze data to determine property boundaries, topography, and construction specs.
- Prepare detailed reports and maps from survey findings.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure accurate project execution.
- Implement safety protocols while performing surveys on job sites.
- Stay updated on industry developments and technology advancements.
