Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics in Alta, Norway is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team. The role involves conducting land surveys, creating detailed maps and reports, and interpreting survey data to determine boundaries and topography.

You will communicate with clients to capture project requirements and provide progress updates. The position is full-time and based on-site in Alta, with opportunities to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and to use AutoCAD or other mapping

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying.
• Experience using AutoCAD or other mapping software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land surveys using GPS, total station, and aerial photography.
• Create accurate maps and reports based on survey data.
• Analyze and interpret survey data to determine boundary lines and topographical features.
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
• Manage equipment inventory and ensure proper maintenance of surveying tools.
