Job summary

ConFlip is seeking an Entry-Level Software Tester in Bergen, responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. You'll conduct various tests, report bugs, and collaborate closely with our development team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, strong problem-solving skills, and familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.

This position offers a salary of $1600/month, negotiable based on experience, with visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures accurately.
• Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct manual and automated tests on software products.
• Identify, report, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute regression tests to ensure previous issues have been resolved.
• Continuously improve testing processes and procedures.
