Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and fashion trend knowledge.

Junior Merchandiser

The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for assisting in the planning, development, and execution of product strategies for our company in Bergen. Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential new products or trends
• Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or discontinuing products
• Assist with visual merchandising in store displays and online platforms
• Communicate with suppliers and negotiate prices to ensure best value for the company
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and inventory data
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers and source new suppliers as needed
• Stay updated on industry developments, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, fashion merchandising, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1+ years experience in retail or fashion merchandising preferred
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of current fashion trends and consumer behavior
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Salary

The salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Location

This job is located in Bergen.
