Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics in Alta, Norway, is seeking a motivated Junior Industrial Architect to assist in the design and planning of industrial buildings and structures. This part-time role offers hands-on experience and exposure to a range of projects.

You will support senior architects, conduct site visits, and use CAD software to create detailed plans and 3D models, while ensuring compliance with codes and collaborating with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field.
• Strong understanding of industrial building materials and construction methods.
• Proficiency in CAD software AutoCAD or similar.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects with designing industrial buildings and structures.
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project needs.
• Collaborate with engineers contractors and other professionals to develop plans and specifications.
• Research building codes zoning laws and other regulations to ensure compliance.
• Use computer-aided design CAD software to create detailed plans and 3D models.
• Present design proposals to clients for approval.
• Review project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings specifications and reports.
