SecureLine in Svalbard is seeking a Junior Computer Systems Analyst to analyze and improve computer systems and procedures. You will work with senior analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes in an entry-level role ideal for recent graduates.

You will conduct research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, test and troubleshoot systems, and document processes for future reference while providing user support as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or currently pursuing.

Junior Computer Systems Analyst - Entry Level

As a Junior Computer Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating computer systems and procedures to improve efficiency and functionality. You will work closely with senior analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement changes. This is an entry level position suitable for students or recent graduates.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement in computer systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs
• Design and develop solutions to address identified issues or improve functionality
• Test and troubleshoot new or modified systems to ensure proper functioning
• Document processes, procedures, and system changes for future reference
• Provide technical support to end users as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and problem solve
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g. SQL)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Location: This position is based in Svalbard but remote work may be considered.

Salary: Starting salary for this position is $1800 per month.
