Job summary

TheFork seeks a motivated Junior Accountant Intern to join our London team, reporting to the Senior Accountant in UK. You will support Accounts Payable and General Accounting functions, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-growing European dining platform.

We value organized, detail-oriented individuals who are fluent in English, with a degree in Accounting or Finance in progress and strong Excel skills. Lunch vouchers, flexible work, and an international team await you.

Qualifications

• Currently studying Accounting or Accounting & Finance with accounting coursework.
• Fluent English and good communication; other languages a plus.
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices in Workday and match them with purchase orders.
• Review vendor payments and create new supplier accounts.
• Assist in bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Support general accounting entries, prepayments and accruals; assist monthly reconciliations.
• Assist revenue entries from Microsoft Dynamics 365.

Bookatable Limited (TheFork) is seeking a motivated Junior Accountant Intern to join our team in London. Reporting to the Senior Accountant in UK, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating various accounting functions.

Accounts Payable:

• Process supplier invoices in Workday (accounting system)
• Review purchase orders and match them with invoices.
• Manage vendor payments and the creation of new supplier accounts.
• Assist in bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Review employee travel expense reports.

General Accounting:

• Assist with General accounting entries such as prepayments or accruals.
• Assist with monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with the generation of revenue entries from Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Who you are:

• Organized and detail-oriented individual eager to develop their skills inmanaging multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
• The ideal candidate will be a team playerwith excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel.
• Fluent English speaker. Other languages such as French or German are a plus.
• Currently studying Accounting or Accounting & Finance (or a closely related degree with substantial accounting coursework).
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic accounting principles.
