Job summary

ShieldPro Protection in Bergen is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems in commercial or residential buildings. You will work with the project manager and teammates to complete projects on time and within budget.

The role requires a Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience, a minimum of 3 years in the field, and strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial or residential electrical work.
• Strong knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with local building codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs.
• Collaborate with the project manager to plan project timelines and coordinate with other trades.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company policies.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Train and supervise apprentices as needed.
