Job summary

Charm Connect is seeking a skilled IOS developer to join our development team in Svalbard. You will design and build applications for Apple's iOS platform, focusing on high-quality, user-friendly apps that meet client needs.

Work independently or as part of a team to deliver features and improvements. Responsibilities include designing iOS apps, ensuring performance and quality, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, fixing bugs, and evaluating new technologies to boost development

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an iOS developer or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Swift and Xcode.
• Solid understanding of iOS frameworks (Core Data, Core Animation, etc.).
• Experience with third‑party libraries and APIs.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS apps to back-end services.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled IOS developer to join our development team in Svalbard As an IOS developer you will be responsible for designing and building applications for Apples iOS platform Your primary focus will be developing high-quality user-friendly applications that meet the needs of our clients You should have a strong understanding of the iOS ecosystem and be able to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IOS developer or relevant role
• Familiarity with Swift programming language and Xcode IDE
• Strong understanding of iOS framework such as Core Data Core Animation etc
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Familiarity with push notifications cloud messaging APIs and social media integration
• Understanding of Apples design principles and interface guidelines
• Experience with Agile methodology and project management tools like JIRA
