Responsibilities

• Work as a key member of the team to provide International and Complex UK tax advisory services to support clients in achieving commercial objectives.
• Manage delivery of technically excellent advice including tax structuring, refinancing, business and legal structure optimisation, pre/post transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries and supporting wider corporate tax team.
• Liaise with specialists in other departments and overseas offices to oversee input into tax advisory projects.
• Coach and develop more junior members of the team.
• Manage aspects of the team’s operations and performance, including resourcing.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to provide tax and other services.
• Manage proposals for new work, tender documents, client pitches and solutions for client issues.
• Pursue opportunities with targets and participate with Directors and Partners in business development.
• Be a role model for KPMG’s values.

Job Description

You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients across UK listed and take on a variety of projects, including corporate tax and multi-jurisdictional international tax structuring, business reorganisation, international expansion, operating model redesign, tax controversy support and responding to ongoing global tax policy change including BEPS 2.0 .
The role will suit either a Senior Manager wanting to drive their tax career forward advising international businesses, or an ambitious Manager wanting to take the next step. Previous experience of working with multinationals is helpful, but strong technical skills, drive and curiosity are essential.

Key roles and responsibilities will include:
