Statkraft in Oslo is offering an internship within the Quantitative Risk Modelling team. You will contribute to implementing risk and valuation models for energy assets and trading, and learn professional software development practices.
You are a Master’s student in a quantitative field, with strong Python skills and a proactive, analytical mindset. The role runs for 6 months starting 01.01.2027, with a focus on high-quality, robust implementations.

Working in Risk
In addition to being a leading renewable energy integrator, Statkraft is active in proprietary trading and origination business of energy commodities with desks in Amsterdam, Düsseldorf, London, Oslo, and Stockholm. The Risk Department plays a central role in analysing, measuring, managing, and communicating the risks associated with all trading and origination activities of Statkraft.
The Quantitative Risk Modelling team delivers high-quality risk modellingsolutionsto theRisk departmentandensures thatour risk measurement isalignedwithStatkraft’sMarketOperation'sneeds,as well aschanges in the energy markets.
