Job summary

NextPartners is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician for our Oslo, Norway operations. The role covers installing, maintaining, and repairing instruments and control systems in industrial processes.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in instrumentation, strong schematic reading skills, and a careful approach to calibration and safety. The position is full-time in Oslo with the possibility of overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Instrument Technician - Oslo, Norway

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Oslo, Norway. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control systems, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain various types of instruments and control systems, including sensors, transmitters, controllers, valves, and other equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings.
• Read electrical schematics and technical manuals to identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to develop solutions for complex problems.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
• Follow all safety protocols while working on equipment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles and control systems.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and technical manuals.

Education

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this position. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime pay.
