Job summary

BioMérieux Norge AS is seeking a Production Technician in Oslo to assemble mechanical, electrical and optical components to exact specifications. You will perform quality checks and calibrations, troubleshoot issues, and document deviations while supporting ongoing process improvements.

The role requires a certificate in industry or medical equipment or similar, plus 1–3 years in manufacturing. Nordic and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional certificate in industry, medical equipment or similar.
• Technical vocational school in mechanical engineering is desirable.
• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing company is desirable.
• You are accurate and precise.
• Experience working in a team.
• You are structured and tidy.
• You enjoy assembly tasks and providing high quality output.
• Fluent in both Nordic and English.

Are you our new Production Technician?

Do you want to help introduce a new and exciting diagnostic tool to the global market? We are developing an advanced diagnostic platform for point-of-care testing, and after several years of intense research and development, we are now working towards launch. In this process, we need a skilled Production Technician to produce these advanced instruments. As an important part of our dedicated instrument team, you will contribute to our delivery of precise and robust instruments to healthcare institutions around the world. You will become part of a multidisciplinary, high-tech working environment and we look forward to having you join the team!

Responsibilities:

• Manual assembly of mechanical, electrical and optical components according to technical specifications


• Perform quality control and tests on assembled products


• Perform checks and calibrations of production equipment, including accompanying documentation


• Perform troubleshooting on products


• Record deviations according to internal procedures


• Contribute to the further development of production processes and equipment.

Qualifications and personal characteristics:

• Relevant professional certificate in industry, medical equipment or similar (Industrial fitter, production technician, orthopedic technician, dental technician or similar)


• Technical vocational school in mechanical engineering is desirable but not required.


• 1 - 3 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing company is desirable


• You are accurate and precise


• Experience working in a team


• You are structured and tidy


• You enjoy assembly tasks and providing high quality output


• Fluent in both Nordic and English

Arbeidsoppgaver:

• Manuell sammenstilling av mekaniske, elektriske og optiske komponenter iht. teknisk beskrivelse


• Utføre kvalitetskontroll og tester på sammenstilte produkter


• Utføre kontroller og kalibreringer av produksjonsutstyr, inkludert medfølgende dokumentasjon


• Utføre feilsøking på produkter


• Avviksregistrering iht. interne prosedyrer


• Bidra til videreutvikling av produksjonsprosesser og utstyr.

Kvalifikasjoner og personlige egenskaper:

• Relevant fagbrev innen industri, medisinsk utstyr eller liknende (Industrimontør, produksjonstekniker, ortopeditekniker, tanntekniker eller liknende)


• Teknisk fagskole innen maskintekniske fag er ønskelig, men ikke krav.


• 1 - 3 års relevant erfaring med å jobbe i produksjonsbedrift er ønskelig


• Du er nøyaktig og presis


• Erfaring med å jobbe i team


• Du er strukturert og ryddig


• Du liker monteringsoppgaver og leverer resultater av høy kvalitet


• Behersker både nordisk og engelsk språk
