Job summary

Nouryon in Rjukan, Norway, seeks an Industrial Electrician & Automation Technician to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems, ensure safe operations, and keep maintenance records up to date. You will also order parts and support the workshop, stepping in as a temporary process operator when needed.

Requirements include an apprenticeship in automation or Group L electrician, industry experience, knowledge of process data systems, IT and AutoCAD, and strong HSE commitment.

Qualifications

• Certificate of apprenticeship as an automation technician or related field.
• Experience in process/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of process data systems and IT basics.
• Familiar with AutoCAD and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical and instrument equipment in the plant following safety procedures.
• Update component registers and maintenance documentation in the plant system.
• Order spare parts and manage inventory/workshop supplies.
• Act as substitute process operator during holidays or illness.
