Job summary

Dovre Solutions søker en erfaren Work Prep Engineer til vårt prosjektbaserte team i Stord. Stillingen innebærer utvikling og vedlikehold av detaljerte arbeidsordrer basert på ingeniørarbeidspakker (EWP), inklusiv man-timer, tegninger, prosedyrer og materiallister.

Du vil samarbeide tett med ingeniør- og planleggingsgrupper. Vi ser etter en person med minimum 5 års erfaring i olje og gass eller tilknyttet sektor, sterk tegningstolking og god norsk/engelsk kompetanse.

Qualifications

• Teknisk utdannelse med relevant fagbrev/ingeniørutdanning.
• Minimum 5 års erfaring fra olje & gass eller tilsvarende industri, helst innen bygging/ commissioning.
• Kjennskap til MC og commissioning fullføringsprosesser og digitale verktøy (PIMS CMS/PIMS PES).
• Erfaring med utarbeidelse av mekaniske arbeidspakker er en fordel.
• Sterk forståelse av tegninger (P&IDs, ISO) og evne til å tolke teknisk dokumentasjon.
• Flytende norsk, godt engelsk, skriftlig og muntlig.

Responsibilities

• Forberedelse av arbeidsordre basert på EWP; estimering av MHR, utarbeide tegninger, prosedyrer og MTO.
• Samarbeide tett med ingeniør-, planleggings-, konstruksjon- og idriftssettingsteam for å sikre forutsetninger før jobb.
• Gjennomgå sikkerhetsaspekter og HSSE-krav; identifisere risiko og sikre overholdelse av prosjektmodeller.
• Identifisere forbedringsmuligheter for arbeidsforberedelsesprosesser og bidra til erfaringsoverføring.

Arbeidsoppgaver

• Work Order Preparation: Based on information provided in engineering work packs (EWP), the Work Prep Engineer shall develop and maintain detailed work orders in PIMS PES, including, but not limited to, man-hour (MHR) estimates, drawings, procedures, and material lists (MTO).
• Interface Management: Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure all prerequisites are met prior to job execution.
• Quality & HSSE Compliance: Review safety aspects of planned work, identify risks, and ensure compliance with HSSE requirements and project implementation models.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize work preparation processes and contribute to lessons learned.

Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

• Technical education (vocational or engineering degree) with a relevant trade certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the oil & gas industry or a related industry, preferably within construction or commissioning.
• Familiarity with MC and commissioning completion processes and digital tools (e.g., PIMS CMS/PIMS PES).
• Experience in preparing mechanical work packages is considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of drawings (P&IDs, ISO) and the ability to interpret technical documentation.
• Fluent in Norwegian, with a good command of English, both written and spoken

The position is preferably based on a regular work week, with some possibilites for remote work when practical.
