Job summary

SteelAxis in Svalbard, Norway is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry program, develop new menus, manage inventory and purchasing, and train a team of pastry chefs.

You will oversee production and presentation of desserts, maintain high standards for taste and appearance, ensure kitchen cleanliness, and work under pressure to deliver exceptional results in a remote location.

Candidates should bring 3+ years of pastry experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Pastry Chef with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of baking techniques and methods.
• Ability to manage inventory and lead a team.
