Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or related field.
• Experience with federal grants, especially HUD grants, is ideal.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support the Department Budget and related accounting processes (AP, POs, requisitions, payroll projections).
• Support management of HUD funds including annual plans, amendments, budgets, project selection and underwriting under program requirements.
• Prepare and reconcile grant financial records and reports for assigned grants and ensure compliance with budgets and grant agreements.
• Establish grant budgets, awards, accounts, and projects; monitor revenues and expenditures for compliance.
• Prepare reimbursement requests, status reports, drawdowns, and other required grant reports on time.
• Learn and use HUD IDIS/DRGR systems for grant disbursement and reporting.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve financial issues and strengthen internal controls.
