Job summary

Kongsberg Maritime seeks a Global HSE Manager – Operational Safety to lead the global approach to safety, risk management and compliance across divisions and sites. You will strengthen learning, investigations and corrective actions while driving HOP initiatives to improve safety culture.

The role requires experience with high-risk activities, ISO 45001, and practical HSE management. A hybrid work arrangement and global collaboration across KM locations are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience with HSE risk management, operational controls and high-risk activities.
• Experience with incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions and sharing lessons learned.
• Good knowledge of ISO 45001 and practical application of HSE management system requirements; ISO 14001 is a plus.
• Good business understanding and ability to translate safety requirements into practical ways of working.
• Experience from an operational HSE role is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own the HSE Risk Management process and maintain the Global HSE Risk Register.
• Coordinate development, implementation and improvement of global HSE operational controls.
• Lead global lessons learned and HSE SME frameworks; facilitate forums for knowledge sharing.
• Drive Human and Organisational Performance (HOP) initiatives to strengthen safety culture.
• Act as system owner for HSE tools and applications, including governance and budgets.
• Conduct audits, investigate incidents, and deliver HSE training and support.
