Job summary

Element Logic is seeking a Global Finance Manager to lead IFRS reporting, consolidation, and complex accounting across its global operations. You will manage the group consolidation for ~50 entities, ensuring timely reporting to owners and lenders, and partner with the Group CFO and auditors.

The role requires 7–10 years of accounting experience, IFRS expertise, and strong English skills, with hybrid work in Oslo/kløfta. Start by agreement; permanent employment.

Qualifications

  • A higher education degree in accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within group accounting, external audit, or a similar accounting-focused role.
  • Extensive experience with group consolidation and IFRS reporting in an international environment.
  • Strong expertise in IFRS and technical accounting matters.
  • Proven experience preparing consolidated financial statements, annual reports, and note disclosures.
  • Experience working with complex legal entity structures and intercompany transactions.
  • Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and risk management.
  • Experience with ERP, and consolidation systems, preferably Tagetik and Dynamics 365.
  • Strong English skills, both written and spoken.
  • You must be comfortable independently assessing and resolving complex accounting issues.
  • Candidates whose background is primarily within Business Controlling, FP&A, or commercial finance and who lack substantial accounting experience are unlikely to be successful in this role.

  • Owning the consolidation process across the Group’s entities globally.
  • Ensuring high quality in financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting principles.
  • Driving improvements in processes, systems, and ways of working.
  • Acting as a key business partner to management, owners, and auditors.
  • Contribute to M&A activities, including integration and harmonization of accounting practices, as well as impairment assessments and purchase price allocation (PPA)
  • Coordinating collaboration between global and local finance teams.

Job description

Would you like to take on a key role in group reporting within an international company with high complexity and ambitious goals? We are looking for an experienced Global Finance Manager with a strong accounting background who will take overall responsibility for Group IFRS reporting, consolidation, and complex accounting matters across the Group's global operations.

In this role, you will lead and further develop the consolidation process for approximately 50 legal entities globally, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely financial reporting to owners, lenders, and management. You will work closely with the Group CFO, Accounting Director, regional finance leaders, and external auditors, and play a key role in an international finance environment.

Key Responsibilities
