Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Program Manager in Norway to lead complex international customer programs for a high-tech defense environment. You will oversee contracts, drive end-to-end program lifecycle, and coordinate teams across Programs, R&D, Products, Operations, Sales and Service.

The role requires managing requirements, risk, budgets and schedules while maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in program management, project management, contract management with broad client and delivery responsibility.
• Experience with complex, international deliveries within defense, aerospace, high-tech or systems integration.
• Proven ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and coordinate multiple parallel activities.
• Experience with bid/proposal processes, contract negotiations and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of requirements management, risk management and professional reporting.
• Solid financial and commercial understanding, including calculations, business cases, budgets and forecasts.
• Excellent Norwegian and English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for selected customers and build long-term professional relationships.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for program execution and contract performance across the lifecycle.
• Plan, manage and report progress, finances, risk, opportunities and deviations at the program level.
• Ensure timely, on-budget, quality deliveries meeting contract requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams with clear priorities, responsibilities and decision points.
• Support Business Development and Sales in commercial processes.
• Lead complex bid responses from RFP receipt to internal approval and submission.
• Lead contract negotiations, change management and commercial follow-up as needed.
• Monitor support, upgrade and sustainment activities and ensure smooth handover to ongoing customer support.
