Job summary

Halliburton is seeking full-stack developers to build Agile Asset Management, a platform used by engineers and scientists for field development planning and decision making. You will work with React/TypeScript in the browser and Node/TypeScript services in a microservices setup, using REST and GraphQL APIs to connect services and data.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted coding tools and a strong engineering culture, with collaboration across product and DevOps teams to maintain quality and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or closely related STEM discipline.
• Strong TypeScript, with production experience on both frontend and backend.
• Experience building modern web apps with React and services with Node.js.
• Familiar with REST API design, relational databases and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Build features end-to-end including UI, services and data, from implementation to production support.
• Develop in frontend with React/TypeScript and backend with Node/TypeScript services consuming REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Translate complex subsurface workflows into intuitive interfaces for engineers and scientists.
• Operate in a microservices environment with clean API design and evolving standards.
