Job summary

Alexander Grande invites applicants for a 3-year position as Researcher or Postdoc in immunology at UiO's Department of Immunology and Transfusion Medicine. The project focuses on preclinical evaluation of immune responses after influenza vaccination, including antibody and cellular responses.

Responsibilities include measuring antibody responses, evaluating T cell formation by flow cytometry, and supporting master students.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience with flow cytometry.
• Experience with mouse work (FELASA Class B or equivalent).
• Good written and oral proficiency in English.
• Experience with single cell isolation and sorting (advantage).
• Strong background in adaptive immunology (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Measure antibody responses in sera following vaccination.
• Evaluate T cell formation by flow cytometry.
• Evaluate antigen specific B-/T-cells before/after vaccination.
• Assess vaccine induced protective immunity.
• Contribute to supervision of master students.
