Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act. The role emphasizes therapeutic communication, safe environments, and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, wound care, vital signs monitoring, and patient education within a multidisciplinary team. Candidates must have an RN license and BLS; ACLS within 6 months of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse in good standing with accredited nursing program.
• Current licensure with Tennessee Board of Nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs; carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleanse wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor and document patient condition using appropriate systems.
• Educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.
